President of Burkina Faso receives President of Oman Investment Authority

President Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina Faso today received Abdulsalam Almurshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority (OIA), at the Presidential Palace.

The meeting took place during the visit of the OIA's President to explore prospects for economic and investment cooperation between the two friendly countries.

During the meeting, Abdulsalam Almurshidi conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Traoré, along with his best wishes for the President’s success and for the friendly people of Burkina Faso to enjoy progress and stability.

For his part, President Traoré asked Abdulsalam Almurshidi to convey his greetings to His Majesty and his wishes for His Majesty’s continued good health, and for further prosperity and growth for the Omani people.

The meeting discussed strengthening economic and investment cooperation between Oman and Burkina Faso, affirming the keenness of both leaderships to expand such cooperation to serve the interests of both friendly countries.
