More than 180 Omanis and other nationals return from Iran

As part of the fifth phase of the Foreign Ministry's operation to bring Omanis home from Iran, and in coordination with the relevant authorities in the Sultanate of Oman and the Omani Mission in Tehran, 181 Omani citizens and a number of nationals of other countries arrived safely in Muscat.

This followed their evacuation from the city of Mashhad in the Islamic Republic of Iran, via Turkmenistan, before returning to the homeland by air, arriving at Muscat International Airport.

The Ministry will continue its efforts, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, to complete the remaining phases of the repatriation operation to ensure the safe return of all Omani citizens.
