Foreign Minister meets EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, met with Josep Borrell, the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, within the framework of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed developing mechanisms of joint action and cooperation between Oman and the European Union and strengthening economic relations.

The Minister welcomed the European Union's intention to open a diplomatic mission in Muscat during 2023, in a way that enhances relations and cooperation between the two sides.

Views were also exchanged on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
