Minister discusses cooperation with Iraqi counterpart
Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received Fouad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Iraq.
The meeting discussed cooperation between the two brotherly countries and ways to strengthen it across various fields, with the aim of deepening shared interests and achieving greater mutual benefits.
The two Ministers also reviewed a number of regional and international developments. They agreed on the importance of continued coordination and consultation to support all efforts aimed at promoting security, stability and peace in the region through peaceful solutions, dialogue, diplomacy, respect for state sovereignty and the principles of international law.
The meeting was attended by Qais Saad Al Amri, Iraq's Ambassador to Oman along with a number of officials.
