Oman welcomes peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan

The Foreign Ministry expresses Oman’s welcome for the peace agreement between the Republics of Armenia and Azerbaijan, affirming its deep appreciation for the peaceful efforts that contributed to achieving this historic agreement, which ends decades of conflict and division.

Oman commends the pivotal role played by the United States and other parties in this context, and hopes this step will inspire similar achievements in resolving other issues, foremost among them the Palestinian cause in the Middle East, through dialogue and peaceful means based on the principles of justice and legitimacy. Such an approach, without doubt, contributes to enhancing stability and prosperity for all nations, peoples, and regions affected by conflicts around the world.
