Egypt: Ambassador discusses investment opportunities in Oman

Abdullah Alrahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Arab Republic of Egypt, received Dr Talal Mashlah, Chairman of Halon International Group.

The meeting discussed promising investment opportunities in the Sultanate of Oman, including: an industrial safety factory in Sohar, an aluminium plant, a nano-technology-based agricultural project, and a biogas plant in Salalah.

The discussions also touched on organising an international conference on Arab tourism and on tourism opportunities in Oman within the framework of Oman Vision 2040.

Dr Mashlah proposed establishing a company for artistic and film production to reflect Omani history. Ambassador Alrahbi affirmed Oman’s support for cultural, tourism and investment projects.
