Minister meets Sudanese counterpart in New York

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met with Mohi El-Din Salem, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Sudan on the margins of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The meeting reaffirmed the strong relations between the two brotherly countries and discussed the current situation in Sudan. Both Ministers emphasised the importance of supporting efforts to bring together all Sudanese parties through dialogue, prioritising the higher interests of preserving the unity, dignity, security and stability of the country.

A number of officials from both delegations attended the meeting.
