Bahrain: King of Bahrain receives Minister of Finance

His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa received Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, at Al Safriya Palace in Manama.

The Minister conveyed greetings from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said and his best wishes for continued progress and prosperity to His brother the King and the brotherly Bahraini people.

His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa asked the Minister of Finance to pass on his fraternal greetings to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. The King praised the steady growth and development of relations between the two brotherly countries.

They reviewed existing cooperation and discussed ways to enhance it, especially in the economic, investment and development sectors. They affirmed their commitment to continued coordination and consultation to serve their shared interests.

During his official visit, the Finance Minister also met Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister; and Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy. They explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation, and to support deeper integration between the two brotherly countries.

They also reviewed the latest economic and financial developments in both countries, and discussed ways to deepen financial and economic cooperation to serve their shared interests and support sustainable development.
