NCCHT holds event to support victims of human trafficking

The National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking organised an event titled “Therapeutic Gathering for Recovery and Self-Love” in cooperation with the Learn to Inspire Centre. The initiative forms part of Oman’s ongoing efforts to protect victims of human trafficking and to strengthen psychological and social support programmes for them.

The event aimed to empower victims psychologically and emotionally, helping them regain self-confidence and a sense of security, in line with the national approach that places the utmost importance on protecting human beings and preserving their dignity.

The event included interactive and counselling sessions focused on the concept of self-love and inner recovery, with the participation of specialists in psychological and social support. The aim was to create a safe and encouraging environment that helps victims rebuild new lives with greater stability and confidence.

The event is part of a series of activities organised under the national campaign “Safety for Every Human” to highlight Oman’s efforts in protecting and supporting victims in line with the highest humanitarian and legal standards.
