
Oman’s Embassy in Saudi Arabia celebrates National Day
The Embassies of the Sultanate of Oman around the world marked National Day by holding receptions attended by senior officials in host countries.
In Saudi Arabia, Ambassador Najib Albusaidi and embassy staff hosted a reception to mark Oman’s National Day, under the patronage of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of Riyadh, and in the presence of Abdulmajid Al Samari, the Kingdom’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Protocol Affairs.


The reception was attended by business figures, Ambassadors to Saudi Arabia, members of the diplomatic corps and Omani citizens residing in the Kingdom.

Oman’s embassy in Bahrain hosted a reception to mark the National Day.


In Mumbai the Consul General of Oman, Mahboob Alraisi, hosted an official celebration marking National Day. The event was attended by officials from the Government of Maharashtra, members of the consular corps, business and academic figures, along with Dr Rajesh Ghawandi, Chief of Protocol in the Government of Maharashtra, who attended as guest of honour.

In his remarks, the Consul General highlighted the depth of Oman–India diplomatic relations spanning seven decades and Oman’s development under Oman Vision 2040.
In China, Minister Plenipotentiary Ali Alhassani, Chargé d’Affaires of Oman’s Mission in China, hosted a reception to mark the National Day under the patronage of Chen Weiqing, Director of the Department of West Asia and North Africa at the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


The reception was attended by officials from the Chinese government and the Communist Party, Ambassadors and diplomats in Beijing, as well as business and media figures.

In Sri Lanka, Ambassador Ahmed Alrashidi, hosted a reception to mark Oman’s National Day under the patronage of Handunnetti Sunil Seniviratne, Minister of Buddhist Affairs, Religions and Cultural Affairs.

In New York, the Permanent Representative to the United Nations hosted a reception to mark Oman’s National Day, celebrating the renewed renaissance and the achievements realised under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
