
Brazil: Oman at meeting on global warming
Oman today participated in the World Leaders’ Meeting on urgent actions to reduce global warming, held in the city of Belém, Brazil, ahead of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), which begins next week with 200 countries taking part.

The delegation of the Sultanate of Oman was headed by Abdullah Bin Ali Al Amri, President of Oman’s Environment Authority.
During the meeting, Oman reaffirmed its full readiness to demonstrate its commitment to global efforts to combat climate change and to present the progress it has achieved under its ambitious vision to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.
