
His Majesty leaves for Spain
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has left Oman heading to the Kingdom of Spain on a three-day state visit, in response to an invitation from King Felipe VI of the Kingdom of Spain.
The visit aims to enhance the advanced relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Spain and to expand cooperation and partnership in various economic, investment and trade sectors, in a manner that serve the interests of both countries.

His Majesty was seen off at the Royal Airport by: His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik al-Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan; His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth; Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council; Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Alubsaidi, Minister of Interior; Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan Albusaidi, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council; Nasr bin Hamoud Al Kindi, Secretary General of the Royal Court Affairs; Sheikh Al Fadl bin Mohammed Al Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers. Lieutenant General Hassan bin Mohsin Al Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs; Lieutenant General Said bin Ali Al Hilali, Head of the Internal Security Service; Dr Mohammed bin Said Al Ma’amari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs; Dr Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health; Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces; Major General Mattar bin Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman; Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman; Rear Admiral Saif bin Nassir Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman; and Major General Musallam bin Mohammed Jaaboub, Commander of the Sultan’s Special Force.

His Majesty will be accompanied during his visit by a high-ranking official delegation comprising: His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Albusaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of Oman Investment Authority; Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; Engineer Salim bin Nassir Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals; and Thamer bin Fayyaz bin Khalfan Al Alawi, Ambassador of Oman to Spain.
