His Majesty and Turkish President hold talks
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Türkiye held a session of talks at Al Alam Palace.
At the outset of the session, His Majesty the Sultan reiterated his welcome to President Erdogan and his accompanying delegation. President Erdogan in turn expressed his utmost thanks and appreciation to His Majesty for the warm welcome and hospitality.
The session reviewed the historical ties and the relations of cooperation and partnership between the two countries, as well as means of promoting them to serve the interests of the two countries’ peoples. The two Leaders also discussed regional and international topics of mutual interest.
The session of talks was attended from Oman by His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan; His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Albusaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Albusaidi, Minister of Interior; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi, Foreign Minister; Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Oufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Marshadi, President of Oman Investment Authority; Qais bin Mohamed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and Saif Aljahwari, Oman's Ambassador to Türkiye.
The talks wereattended from Türkiye by Necmettin Bilal Erdogan, son of the President; Hakan Fidan, Foreign Minister; Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources; Yasar Guler, Minister of Defence; Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology; Omer Bolat, Minister of Trade; Mehmet Hakimoğlu, Türkiye's Ambassador to Oman and various officials.
