Workshop marks 45 years of diplomatic relations between Oman and Thailand

The Foreign Ministry, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand, organised at the Diplomatic Academy in Muscat a workshop to mark the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Thailand.

The workshop was held under the patronage of Ambassador Sheikh Humaid Almaani, Director of the Diplomatic Academy at the Foreign Ministry, with the participation of government bodies, diplomats and experts from both countries, as well as diplomats from several missions to the Sultanate of Oman.

The workshop sessions covered key themes, such as the diplomatic experiences of Oman and Thailand in promoting peace and regional development, the role of the leaderships of both countries in consolidating stability and sustainable development, as well as economic relations and opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the fields of development and investment.

The discussions highlighted the importance of advancing economic relations between the two friendly countries to by encouraging joint investments and expanding cooperation in the sectors of tourism, energy and trade, in line with their aspirations for comprehensive and sustainable development.
