Minister meets Kuwait Crown Prince in New York
Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met with Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, at the headquarters of Kuwait’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations.
During the meeting, Sayyid Badr conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to his brother Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, and to the Crown Prince, along with His Majesty’s best wishes for the Kuwaiti people for continued prosperity and for the relations between the two countries to achieve further progress and growth.
For his part, the Crown Prince conveyed to the Minister the greetings of the Emir and his appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan, together with his best wishes to His Majesty and to the Omani people for greater progress and prosperity, affirming the deep ties that unite the two brotherly countries.
The meeting reaffirmed the strength of the fraternal relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Kuwait and the mutual keenness to develop and enhance them in a manner that serves the interests of the two countries and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Crown Prince asked the Minister to convey his greetings and those of the Emir of Kuwait to His Majesty the Sultan, along with their best wishes for the Omani people for further advancement and success.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials from both Oman and Kuwait.
