Minister meets Kyrgyz Foreign Minister in New York

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met in New York with Zheenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic,  on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The meeting witnessed the signing of an agreement on mutual visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, special, service and official passports, a step to facilitate the movement of officials and strengthen cooperation.

The Ministers' discussions also covered the friendly relations between the two countries  and their shared commitment to broaden cooperation to include the economic, scientific and cultural sectors.

The meeting also explored opportunities for trade and logistical connectivity, drawing on Kyrgyzstan’s location in Central Asia, to serve mutual interests and support stability and development.
