Minister meets Algeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs in New York
Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a meeting in New York with Ahmed Attaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, on the margins of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting reaffirmed the depth of the fraternal ties and cooperation between the two brotherly countries, and their shared commitment to developing these in the fields of economy, investment, education and culture, in a way that strengthens common interests and serves the aspirations of both countries.
The discussions also covered a number of regional and international issues, foremost among them the Palestinian cause. The two Ministers underlined the importance of continuing coordination to support common Arab positions and reinforce international efforts aimed at ending the aggression on Gaza and enabling the Palestinian people to attain their legitimate rights.
A number of officials from both delegations attended the meeting.
