Minister meets Armenian counterpart in New York

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met in New York with Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, on the margins of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The two Ministers discussed the growing relations between the two friendly countries and underlined the need to expand trade exchange, exchange visits, encourage the private sector to explore investment opportunities, and strengthen cooperation in transport, education and culture.

They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues, and affirmed the importance of continuing consultation and coordination in multilateral forums in support of security, stability and sustainable development.

A number of officials from both delegations attended the meeting.
