Oman and Burundi sign agreement on political consultations

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met with Foreign Minister Édouard Bizimana of the Republic of Burundi on the margins of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The meeting witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on political consultations.

The signing reflects the two countries’ commitment to strengthening political and diplomatic dialogue and expanding coordination on regional and international issues.

The Ministers agreed that the signing marks an important step in enhancing bilateral relations and opening wider prospects for joint cooperation.

The meeting was attended by a number of officials from both countries.
