Oman and Bangladesh sign agreement on diplomatic training

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met Touhid Hossain, Foreign Affairs Adviser of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, on the side lines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The meeting witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of diplomatic training.

It also emphasised the importance of strengthening diplomatic cooperation between the two friendly countries through the exchange of expertise and visits, as well as the organisation of joint training programmes.

The Minister and Foreign Affairs Adviser reviewed the latest developments in relations and promising areas of partnership, reaffirming their mutual desire to develop them in a way that serves common interests.
