Oman attends launch of Declaration on Protection of Humanitarian Workers

The Sultanate of Oman, along with several other countries, took part in launching the Declaration on the Protection of Humanitarian Aid Workers at the United Nations headquarters in New York as part of Oman's participation in the opening of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

The Declaration expresses the political and humanitarian will of the international community to ensure that humanitarian aid reaches civilians affected by conflicts safely and swiftly.

Ambassador Ali bin Ahmed Al Najjar from the Foreign Ministry’s Department for International Organisations signed the declaration on behalf of the Sultanate of Oman.
