Kuwait: Oman at Gulf Cybersecurity meeting
Oman took part in the fourth meeting of the Ministerial Committee of Cybersecurity Authorities and Centres of the Gulf Cooperation Council, held in the State of Kuwait.
Oman’s delegation was headed by Dr Saleh Alkharusi, Ambassador of Oman to Kuwait.
The meeting discussed issues related to the GCC cybersecurity framework, executive work plans, ways to strengthen cooperation among member states in this field, and joint initiatives aimed at enhancing digital protection, countering growing cyber threats, and developing digital infrastructure.
The meeting approved the executive plan for the GCC Cybersecurity Strategy (2024–2028) and endorsed the framework for international cooperation among GCC states in the field of cybersecurity.
