Hotels in Oman post strong growth

Revenues of three to five star hotels in the Sultanate of Oman rose by 18.2% to OMR 141 million by the end of June 2025, compared to OMR 119  million for the same period of 2024.

Data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) show that the number of guests at three-to-five-star hotels in Oman increased by 9.2% to a total of 1,142,702 guests by the end of June 2025, compared to 1,046,224 guests in the corresponding period of the previous year.

In terms of guests by nationality, visitors from Oceania recorded the highest growth rate, up by 58%, followed by African nationals with a 41% increase.

Guests from the Americas increased by 22%, while European guests rose by 20%. The number of Gulf guests grew by 11% while Omani guests increased by 6%  and Asian nationals saw a 2% rise. The number of guests from other Arab countries fell by 1%.
