His Majesty and UAE President discuss regional developments

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik held a telephone call with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

During the call, the two leaders exchanged views on the concerning developments in the region, emphasising the need to intensify regional and international coordination to contain escalation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel, to spare the region from the scourge of crises and disasters while protecting its peoples, infrastructure and achievements.

They also expressed their rejection of the recent US attacks on Iranian territory, viewing them as provocative actions that undermine de-escalation efforts and only heighten tensions.

They warned that such developments could lead to serious repercussions threatening the security and stability of the entire region.
