Launch of electronic attestation service in Indonesia, Spain and Portugal

As part of its commitment to providing high-quality consular services, and in support of Oman Vision 2040’s digital transformation goals, the Foreign Ministry is pleased to announce the launch of  its electronic attestation service in the Republic of Indonesia, the Kingdom of Spain and the Portuguese Republic, starting from 19 June 2025.

The service will be available without the need to visit Omani diplomatic missions in these countries.

The Electronic Attestation Service was launched in January 2025 and already covers the following countries: the GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE)  as well as: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Korea, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and the UK.

The Ministry will continue to expand the service to other friendly countries in coordination with Oman Post.
