Oman welcomes election of Bahrain as non-permanent member of UN Security Council

The Foreign Ministry expresses the Sultanate of Oman’s welcome of the election of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the 2026–2027 term. The Sultanate extends its congratulations on this achievement, which reflects the international community’s confidence in Bahrain.

The Ministry affirms its confidence that, through its membership, the Kingdom of Bahrain will contribute to supporting international peace and security efforts and promoting the principles of dialogue and constructive understanding on various international issues.
