Notice on mutual visa-exemption agreement with Russian Federation

The Foreign Ministry announces that the mutual visa-exemption agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and the Russian Federation will enter into force once both sides complete the necessary legal and technical procedures.

The start date will be announced via the Ministry’s official channels as soon as those procedures are finalised.

Until the official announcement is issued, the Ministry urges holders of ordinary passports who wish to travel to the Russian Federation to obtain an entry visa in advance under the current procedures.
