Minister meets US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received Allison Hooker, US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, as part of her official visit to take part in the third round of the Strategic Dialogue between the two countries.

The meeting explored prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation across political and economic fields. The focus was on encouraging US investment in the Sultanate of Oman’s priority sectors, including renewable energy, space and education. This would support the long term strategic partnership between the two countries.

The meeting also witnessed an exchange of views on regional and international developments, highlighting the importance of strengthening coordination and consultation to support efforts aimed at security, stability and peace.
