His Majesty receives a written message from the Sultan of Brunei

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a written message from His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, concerning the friendly relations and cooperation between Oman and Brunei.

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received the message during his meeting with Dato Erywan, Second Minister for Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam, who is paying an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

During the meeting at the Foreign Ministry, the Ministers reviewed the friendly relations between Oman and Brunei. They affirmed their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation in various fields in a way that serves mutual interests.

They focused in particular on economic and trade cooperation. They also discussed expanding partnership in renewable energy, tourism projects and infrastructure, including the transport sector. The meeting also highlighted the importance of enhancing cultural ties between the two friendly peoples.

The meeting also saw an exchange of views regional issues and developments in both the ASEAN region and the Middle East. They also consultated on developments on the international stage.
