Minister in call with Palestinian Foreign Minister

A telephone call took place between Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and Dr Varsen Aghabekian Shahin, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine. They discussed developments related to the Palestinian cause and regional and international efforts aimed at consolidating the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

Sayyid Badr reaffirmed Oman’s firm and supportive position on the rights of the Palestinian people. These include the right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state in line with resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, including Resolution No 2803.

The call also highlighted the importance of full and effective Palestinian participation in the efforts underway in this context.
