Tunisia: President receives Oman’s Minister of Commerce

President of the Tunisian Republic Kais Saied received Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, at Carthage Palace in Tunis as part of the Tunisian Omani Economic Forum.

During the meeting, the Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and his wishes for the Tunisian President’s good health and for the Tunisian people’s continued progress and prosperity.

For his part, President Saied asked the Minister to convey his greetings and appreciation to His Majesty and his wishes for further growth and advancement for the Omani people.

The meeting reaffirmed the importance of deepening the economic partnership between Oman and Tunisia across various sectors. Both sides agreed on the need to activate joint initiatives that can strengthen trade and expand investment opportunities. They also discussed ways to advance economic, investment and industrial cooperation between the two countries.

Attending from the Omani delegation were Dr Hilal Alsanani, Oman’s Ambassador to Tunisia, and Rashid bin Amer Al Muslahi, First Vice Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
