Oman India Strategic Consultative Group meets

The fourteenth session of the Strategic Consultative Group between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India was held in Muscat.

The Omani delegation was led by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, while the Indian delegation was headed by Shri Arun Kumar Chatterjee, Indian Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Neighbouring Countries Affairs and Consular Affairs.

The meeting reviewed cooperation in civil aviation, logistics, vocational training, mining and energy. It also discussed consular matters and existing agreements.

The meeting also saw an exchange of views on regional and international developments and was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashil Almaskari, Head of the Ministry's  Department for the GCC and Region, Gudavarthy Venkata Srinivas, India's Ambassador to Oman and a number of officials from both countries.
