Brazil: Embassy marks National Day
The Sultanate of Oman’s Embassy to the Federative Republic of Brazil held a reception to mark the National Day.
In his address, Ambassador Abdul Ghaffar Albulushi Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federative Republic of Brazil highlighted the significance of this national occasion, which reflects Oman’s pride in its long history since the establishment of the Al Busaidi state on 20 November 1744, when the founding Imam Ahmed bin Said Al Busaidi unified the nation and laid the foundations of the modern Omani state built on sovereignty, unity and dignity.

He spoke of Oman’s diplomatic approach based on positive neutrality, dialogue and respect for international law and the Charter of the United Nations, calling for wisdom, de-escalation in the region and the adoption of peaceful means to resolve disputes.
The reception was attended by Clelio Nivaldo Crippa Filho, Head of the Middle East Department at Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with business leaders, investors, media representatives and members of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions to the Federative Republic of Brazil.
