Germany: Shabab Oman II receives economic and diplomatic delegations

The Royal Navy of Oman’s vessel Shabab Oman II received official, economic and diplomatic delegations at the port of Bremerhaven in the Federal Republic of Germany, as part of its seventh international voyage. The ship affirmed that the sea is not merely a route for navigation but a bridge for communication, cooperation and partnership.

During the event, the Oman Investment Authority , in the presence of Maithaa Almahrouqi, Oman’s Ambassador to Germany, delivered a strategic presentation outlining its priorities in investment and economic diversification. It also highlighted efforts to expand international partnerships and attract quality investments in renewable energy, logistics, tourism and advanced technologies.

The presentation showcased Oman’s strategic geographic location connecting the markets of Asia, Africa and Europe, along with its advanced infrastructure, free zones and world-class ports.

Representatives of the diplomatic corps and business community were briefed on the investment incentives offered by Oman, including flexible legislation, competitive advantages and investor protection guarantees, in addition to the political stability that makes Oman a safe and sustainable destination for long-term partnerships.

On the cultural side, Shabab Oman II offered visitors an opportunity to learn about Oman’s civilisational heritage, its rich maritime history and its modern renaissance, adding a human and cultural dimension to the investment opportunities that enhances trust and credibility.

Through this event, the ship embodied an integrated blend of economy, diplomacy and culture, becoming a travelling platform that promotes Oman as a promising global investment destination.
