Tunisian President receives Foreign Minister

President Kais Saied of the Republic of Tunisia received Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister at the Presidential Palace in Tunis.

The meeting took place during the Minister’s official visit to Tunisia.

During the meeting, Sayyid Badr conveyed greetings from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Tunisian President and his best wishes of good health and happiness. He also conveyed His Majesty’s wishes for further progress and prosperity to the Tunisian people.

In return, the Tunisian President asked the Minister to convey his heartfelt sentiments and best wishes of good health and wellbeing to His Majesty the Sultan. The President also wished the Omani people further growth and prosperity.

The meeting recognised the strong relations between the two countries and the importance of boosting them in all fields to serve mutual interests.

President Kais Saied expressed his country’s appreciation for the Sultanate of Oman’s role, under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan, in consolidating regional and international security and stability. He also praised Oman’s approach based on wisdom and the values of dialogue and cooperation between nations and peoples.

Sayyid Badr expressed the Sultanate’s pride in the strong fraternal relations with the Republic of Tunisia, stressing its keenness to strengthen bilateral cooperation and continue consultation and coordination on issues of common interest.

The Foreign Minister also praised the leadership of the Tunisian President and his wise vision for the region, the future of joint Arab action, and Tunisia's path to economic and social development.
