Political Undersecretary at event marking 50 years of diplomatic ties with Bangladesh

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, attended a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the friendly People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

The ceremony was attended by Khondker Misbah Ul Azim, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Sultanate of Oman.

In a speech at the ceremony, Sheikh Alharthy spoke of the deep relations between the two countries and the progress achieved across various fields. He affirmed the continued commitment to strengthening cooperation and expanding investment and trade.

He also expressed appreciation for the contribution of the Bangladeshi community to Oman’s economic and service sectors.
