Oman and Belgium hold political consultations in Brussels

The eighth round of political consultations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Belgium was held today in the Belgian capital, Brussels. The meeting was co-chaired by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, and Theodora Gentzis, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium.

The session reviewed cooperation between the two friendly countries, particularly in the fields of clean energy, ports, and logistics, in addition to technical and consular cooperation. The discussions also touched on regional and international issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Munther Almandhari, Director-General of the Europe Department; Rua Alzadjali, Oman's Ambassador to Belgium, and a number of officials from both countries.
