{"id":9405,"date":"2024-03-18T15:34:02","date_gmt":"2024-03-18T15:34:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/9405\/"},"modified":"2025-12-14T09:37:25","modified_gmt":"2025-12-14T09:37:25","slug":"his-majesty-appoints-non-resident-ambassadors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/en\/9405\/","title":{"rendered":"His Majesty appoints non-resident Ambassadors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued a Royal Decree No. (17\/2024) on appointing non-resident Ambassadors.<\/p>\n<p>Article (1) of Royal Decree No. (17\/2024) appoints <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/brasilia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Talal bin Sulaiman bin Habib Alrahbi, the Sultanate of Oman\u2019s Ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil<\/a> as non-resident Ambassador of Oman to the Oriental Republic of Uruguay and the Republic of Colombia.<\/p>\n<p>Article (2) appoints <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/london\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Badr bin Mohammed bin Badr Al Mantheri, the Sultanate of Oman\u2019s Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland<\/a> as non-resident Ambassador of Oman to the Republic of Iceland.<\/p>\n<p>Article (3) appoints <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/colombo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ahmed bin Ali bin Said Alrashidi, the Sultanate of Oman\u2019s Ambassador to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka<\/a> as \u00a0non-resident Ambassador of Oman to the Republic of Maldives.<\/p>\n<p>Article (4) appoints Hamood bin Salim bin Abdullah Altowaiya, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/moscow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Sultanate of Oman\u2019s Ambassador to the Russian Federation<\/a> as non-resident Ambassador of Oman to the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Serbia.<\/p>\n<p>This is an unofficial English version of an Arabic report.
