{"id":60512,"date":"2026-10-17T10:26:46","date_gmt":"2026-10-17T10:26:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/60512\/"},"modified":"2026-10-17T13:07:52","modified_gmt":"2026-10-17T13:07:52","slug":"%d8%ac%d9%84%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%a9%d9%8f-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b3%d9%91%d9%8f%d9%84%d8%b7%d8%a7%d9%86-%d9%8a%d9%82%d9%88%d9%85-%d8%a8%d8%b2%d9%8a%d8%a7%d8%b1%d8%a9-%d8%af%d9%88%d9%84%d8%a9%d9%8d-%d8%a5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/en\/60512\/","title":{"rendered":"His Majesty to pay State Visit to the United Kingdom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/en\/about-oman\/state\/head-of-state\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik<\/a> will pay a state visit to the United Kingdom (UK), starting from Monday.<\/p>\n<p>This was announced in a statement issued by the Diwan of Royal Court, which reads as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn reinforcement of the enduring historical bonds between the Sultanate of Oman and the friendly United Kingdom, and in response to the gracious invitation extended to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik from<a href=\"https:\/\/www.royal.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Head of the Commonwealth<\/a>, His Majesty the Sultan will pay state visit to the United Kingdom commencing Monday, October 19, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;His Majesty the Sultan\u2019s visit to the United Kingdom comes within the framework of reinforcing all that would elevate the facets of cooperation existing between the two countries across various domains, and the means of developing them in service of their mutual interests and aspirations in the present and the future.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;During the visit, the two leaderships will hold consultation and coordination on various developments on the regional and international arenas.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan during his visit will be a high-level official delegation comprising: His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/en\/about-oman\/government\/ministers-profiles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs;<\/a> His Highness Sayyid Lu\u2019ai bin Ghalib Al Said, Secretary-General of the Diwan of Royal Court; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Lt General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Albusaidi, Minister of Interior; S<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/en\/ministry\/about-us\/key-figures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister;<\/a> Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office;
