Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs,<\/a> received Dr G\u00e9za Andreas von Geyr, State Secretary at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.<\/a><\/p>\n

The meeting reviewed relations and ways to strengthen them, particularly Germany’s interest in diversifying existing cooperation and exploring new opportunities.<\/p>\n

The meeting also discussed escalating tensions in the region and issues of mutual interest.<\/p>\n

Dr von Geyr expressed Germany’s appreciation for the positive role played by the Sultanate of Oman in de-escalation and mediation efforts.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Yousuf bin Ahmed Al Jabri, Monika Iwersen, German Ambassador to Oman,<\/a> and officials from both countries.<\/p>\n
