{"id":59441,"date":"2026-10-07T15:15:03","date_gmt":"2026-10-07T15:15:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/59441\/"},"modified":"2026-10-07T17:10:50","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T17:10:50","slug":"%d8%a7%d9%86%d8%b9%d9%82%d8%a7%d8%af-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%a7%d8%ac%d8%aa%d9%85%d8%a7%d8%b9-%d8%a7%d9%8415-%d9%84%d9%81%d8%b1%d9%8a%d9%82-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%aa%d8%b4%d8%a7%d9%88%d8%b1-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%a7%d8%b3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/en\/59441\/","title":{"rendered":"Oman and India hold strategic talks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 15th meeting of the Strategic Consultative Group between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India was held in New Delhi.<\/p>\n<p>The Omani delegation was headed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/en\/ministry\/about-us\/key-figures\/#sheikh-khalifa-alharthy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy,<\/a> while the Indian delegation was headed by Siriya Ranganathan, Secretary for Consular, Passport, Visa and Overseas Indian Affairs at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mea.gov.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">India\u2019s Ministry of External Affairs.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The meeting discussed ways to implement the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/en\/33758\/\">Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement<\/a> between the two countries, with a view to boosting trade and investment and expanding opportunities for economic cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>It also reviewed cooperation in civil aviation, maritime transport, logistics and energy, alongside a number of consular matters and agreements.
