Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi<\/a> met with Massad Boulos, Senior Adviser to the U.S. President for Arab and African Affairs.<\/a><\/p>\n

The meeting addressed Arab and African issues of mutual interest, as well as diplomatic efforts to contain conflicts and create conditions for political settlements that safeguard the sovereignty and security of states and respond to their peoples\u2019 aspirations for peace and stability.<\/p>\n

The U.S. official praised Oman\u2019s wise policy and its recognised role in bringing viewpoints closer together, as well as its sustained efforts to promote opportunities for consensus and peace in the region.<\/p>\n

Regarding Oman-U.S. relations, both expressed their countries\u2019 shared commitment to continuing constructive efforts to develop cooperation and partnership in line with their mutual aspirations and interests, bringing greater benefits to both countries.<\/p>\n
