His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik<\/a> and President Paul Kagame of the Republic of Rwanda<\/a> held an official session of talks at Al Hosn Palace in Salalah.<\/p>\n

Discussions focused on cooperation and investment in mining, renewable energy, food security, land ports, logistics and healthcare, with the aim of strengthening investment partnership between the two countries to meet the aspirations of their peoples and serves their mutual interests.<\/p>\n

The talks were attended from Oman by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs;<\/a> His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Albusaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Albusaidi, Minister of Interior; Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister;<\/a> Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance;<\/a> Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of Oman Investment Authority<\/a>; Engineer Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology; Engineer Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals; Anwar bin Hilal Al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and Nasra bint Salim Alhashmi, Oman’s Ambassador to Kenya and non resident Ambassador to Rwanda.<\/a><\/p>\n
