Muscat International Airport<\/a> and Salalah Airport<\/a> received nine global awards under the Airport Service Quality programme, presented by Airports Council International<\/a>, during the Airports Council International Airport Experience Summit 2026<\/a>, hosted in Istanbul, T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n

This recognition confirms the achievements of the two airports in passenger experience and service quality. It also reflects the combined efforts of Oman Airports employees, all personnel and partners across the airport community, who work continuously every day to ensure an efficient, comfortable and passenger-focused travel experience.<\/p>\n

Muscat International Airport received four awards: Most Enjoyable Airport<\/strong>, Cleanest Airport<\/strong>, Most Dedicated Staff <\/strong>and Best Airport at Departures<\/strong>, in the category for airports handling five million passengers or more in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East region.<\/p>\n

Salalah Airport received five awards: Most Enjoyable Airport<\/strong>, Cleanest Airport<\/strong>, Easiest Airport Journey<\/strong>, Most Dedicated Staff<\/strong> and Best Airport at Departures<\/strong>, in the category for airports handling fewer than five million passengers in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East region.<\/p>\n

Saud bin Nasser Al Hubaishi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Oman Airports<\/a>, said the awards reflect passengers\u2019 confidence in the services provided at Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport. He added that they give both airports a prominent presence at a major global event dedicated to airport experience and strengthen Oman\u2019s aviation sector in the fields of service quality and passenger experience. They also support the role of both airports in facilitating travel and tourism and strengthening domestic and international air connectivity.<\/p>\n

He said that the Most Dedicated Staff<\/strong> award holds particular significance because it directly recognises the people behind the passenger experience and the daily efforts of Oman Airports employees, all personnel and partners across the airport community. The experience passengers receive is the result of teamwork and continuous coordination among the various teams and organisations operating at the airport, from operations and services to every point of contact with passengers.<\/p>\n

Al Hubaishi said the achievement is the result of commitment, teamwork and partnership.
