{"id":52262,"date":"2026-08-03T09:27:52","date_gmt":"2026-08-03T09:27:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/52262\/"},"modified":"2026-08-04T09:45:44","modified_gmt":"2026-08-04T09:45:44","slug":"%d8%b3%d9%84%d8%b7%d9%86%d8%a9-%d8%b9%d9%8f%d9%85%d8%a7%d9%86-%d8%aa%d8%b3%d8%aa%d8%ad%d8%af%d8%ab-%d8%aa%d8%a3%d8%b4%d9%8a%d8%b1%d8%a9-%d8%b3%d9%8a%d8%a7%d8%ad%d9%8a%d8%a9-%d9%85%d8%ac%d8%a7%d9%86","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/en\/52262\/","title":{"rendered":"Oman introduces free 14-day tourist visa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Oman has introduced a new, free 14-day tourist visa, aimed at providing greater flexibility for visitors and enhancing the country&#8217;s tourism offerings.<\/p>\n<p>Under amendments to the Executive Regulations of the Foreign Residence Law, a new paragraph has been added to Article 10 of the Executive Regulations, introducing a 14-day tourist visa that may be granted by the competent authority to nationals of countries designated by the authority, upon request and in accordance with conditions it specifies.<\/p>\n<p>The regulations also allow holders of the new 14-day visa to replace it, before its expiry, with any of the other tourist visa categories provided for under the regulations, subject to the applicable requirements and prescribed fees.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, a new entry has been added to the schedule of entry visa fees under Article 29 of the Executive Regulations, formally introducing the 14-day tourist visa as a separate visa category free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>The amendments were issued under a decision by Lt. Gen.
