Asyad Terminal Duqm<\/a> has welcomed the CMA CGM Vasco de Gama on its maiden call, marking a new milestone as the largest container ship to berth at the terminal since operations began.<\/p>\n

The visit highlights the terminal’s readiness to accommodate the latest generation of ultra-large container vessels.<\/p>\n

With a capacity of 18,000 TEUs, the vessel’s arrival highlights Asyad Terminal Duqm’s advanced operational capabilities and its ability to handle the world’s largest container ships efficiently and safely.<\/p>\n

The terminal is supported by modern infrastructure, deep-water berths and operational capabilities designed to meet the growing demands of the global container shipping industry.<\/p>\n

Omar bin Mahmud Al Mahrazi, Chief Executive Officer of Asyad Ports and Free Zones<\/a>, said the maiden call of the CMA CGM Vasco de Gama demonstrates the growing confidence that leading global shipping lines place in the Sultanate of Oman.<\/p>\n
