Senior officials and dignitaries visited the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Muscat to offer condolences on the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.<\/p>\n

They were received by Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahad bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Sultanate of Oman and embassy staff.<\/a><\/p>\n

The dignitaries and officials expressed their condolences and sympathies to their brethren in the State of Qatar, paying tribute to the late Emir’s pivotal role in Qatar’s renaissance and development, and in strengthening fraternal ties and advancing relations between the two brotherly countries.<\/p>\n

They affirmed the strength of the historic bonds between the two nations, which continue to deepen under the blessed leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik<\/a> and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Qatari Ambassador expressed his profound gratitude for the sincere fraternal sentiments shown by Oman \u2014 leadership, government and people \u2014 on the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa, and spoke of the deep impact his loss has had on the people of Qatar.<\/p>\n

He wished for the continued development and prosperity of Oman-Qatar relations.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the visit, the Omani dignitaries the officials recorded messages in the embassy’s book of condolences, praying to Allah the Almighty to grant the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani vast mercy, to rest him in peace in paradise, and to bestow upon the sisterly State of Qatar lasting security and prosperity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
