On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik<\/a>, His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, accompanied by His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs<\/a>, offered condolences and sympathies to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar,<\/a> on the demise of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.<\/p>\n

His Highness Sayyid Shihab conveyed the condolences and sympathies of His Majesty to Sheikh Tamim, the Al Thani family and the brotherly Qatari people on their profound loss, praying to the Almighty Allah to grant the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa mercy and forgiveness, and to rest his soul in peace in paradise.<\/p>\n

Sheikh Tamim expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty for his sincere condolences and sympathies, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect His Majesty, grant him a long life, and bestow upon him good health and well\u2011being.<\/p>\n

His Highness Sayyid Shihab was accompanied by an official delegation comprising: His Highness Sayyid Dr Kamil bin Fahd Al Said, Secretary\u2011General at the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers; His Highness Sayyid Lo\u2019ay bin Ghaleb Al Said, Secretary\u2011General of the Diwan of Royal Court; Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister;<\/a> Dr Abdullah bin Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information<\/a>; Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said Albusaidi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism<\/a>; and Sayyid Ammar Albusaidi, Ambassador of Oman to Qatar.<\/a><\/p>\n

Upon arrival at the Amiri Hall at Hamad International Airport, His Highness Sayyid Shihab and the accompanying delegation were received by Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, along with senior Qatari officials.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
