The Sultanate of Oman is taking part in the Assemblies of the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO)<\/a>, held in Geneva from July 7 to 15.<\/p>\n

The Omani delegation is led by Ambassador Idris Alkhanjari, Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organisations in Geneva.<\/a><\/p>\n

The delegation includes officials from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion,<\/a> the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism<\/a> and the Omani Association for Intellectual Property<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a statement, Oman highlighted the importance of developing the international intellectual property system to make it more efficient, inclusive and responsive to the needs of member states.<\/p>\n

It also outlined the country’s efforts to strengthen its national intellectual property framework in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.<\/a><\/p>\n
