The Sultanate of Oman was elected for a second consecutive time as a member of the United Nations (UN) Committee on the Rights of the Child<\/a> for the 2027\u20132031 term. The election took place during the 21st Meeting of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of the Child at the United Nations headquarters in New York.<\/p>\n

Oman\u2019s membership of the Committee reflects its firm commitment to promoting and protecting children\u2019s rights. It will also strengthen cooperation with other members to advance the Committee\u2019s goal of protecting children\u2019s rights worldwide and support the shared ambition of providing a safe, healthy and prosperous environment for all children.<\/p>\n
